Requirements

1. Financial Means: You must demonstrate sufficient financial resources (400% of the IPREM for the applicant and 100% for each dependent).
2. Health Insurance: Private health insurance that covers all healthcare needs in Spain.
3. Criminal Record: You must not have any criminal records in the past 5 years.
4. Medical Certificate: A certificate confirming that you do not suffer from any diseases that pose a risk to public health.
5. EU Residence: You must not have resided in another EU country in the past 5 years, unless exceptions apply.

Procedure

1. Application at the Consulate: Submit your application and required documentation at the Spanish Consulate in your country.
2. Evaluation: If approved, you will receive the visa.
3. Entry into Spain: You will have 30 days to apply for the residence card.
4. Obtaining the Residence Card: Apply for the non-lucrative residence card at the Foreigners’ Office.
